cost of one windmill is 1500 Install solar panels on 1 house is 30k
Depending on the size of the city in the Billions.
depends on size of city, but a small city $100,000,000.00 would be a good start and still wouldn’t be enough for all power needs. for one house PRICE: $16,475 (July 1 2008) for less than half of the power all ready in use per house so lets say $35000 per avg. house for 90% all electricty needs if house is heated with natural gas. that figure only works with residintal homes not commercial bulidings expecily not manufracturing.
20 to 30k a house
4,800,000,000,000 for the 160 mill homes in all of the us
i think that it would be like 10 to 20 mill $ for l.a
im sure the gov. would find cheaper panels so maybe even as low as
2,400,000,000,000 for the us
you need to figure how much each home would use as far as electricity, each commercial building, schools everything. Then figure how much energy can be generated in the area(light in a day)throughout the year. Then choose the panel/turbines to fit your needs. If your panels track the sun, that will add a bit to the expenses.Batteries, gotta have those so when the sun goes down and no wind you still got power.Take your figure for purchasing panels/turbines and go get some batteries. Now find a contractor.
A question I have is would each building be powered individually or on a large city system?
