Jorge Gaskins has lived in Puerto Rico for nearly forty years. He has worked to improve the lives of the rural communities both in the Island, as well as in other countries such as Brazil, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Nigeria. Gaskins has been a farmer organizer and has lead start-up businesses in tropical fruit production and processing and in aquaculture. He is an expert in certified organic production systems.
