Question by Björn Þór Jónsson: Will Iceland stop using Geothermal power?
Hi, I was reading National Geographic about Icelands power struggle, and it said that they dont the big pipes that carry the steam, and they dont want to drill in to the crust, so does this mean that Iceland will stop using Geothermal and start using coal? If so, that would be bad, coal is bad.

People will resort to the most affordable power source possible. Environmental concerns are not the first priority.
Coal might be “bad” but you’d be pretty upset without the electricity its giving you right now.
